The town of Kaltenbach lies right there in the valley, while we reach Hochfügen via a top-quality scenic road. Once in the high valley, a magnificent mountain world reveals its before your eyes, one that is flanked by a broad-ranging  ski area.  Extraordinary elevations, ranging between 550 and 2360 meters above sea level, guarantee an unusually long winter season.

Pristine deep-snow slopes and exceptionally groomed hills, ideal for carving and gliding, await you in the Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski area, as do challenging moguls runs, plus easy and intermediate hills for families and beginners.

Skiing Carving in the Zillertal

1 ski pass - 174 lifts - 671 km of slopes 

at elevations ranging between 550 and 3,250 meters above sea level, 174 state-of-the-art cable cars and ski lifts, along with 26 ski-bus lines - all of which can be explored and conquered with one single Super Ski Pass,  making it possible for you to experience snowy skiing enjoyment  that is quite beyond compare.

Pristine deep-snow slopes and superbly groomed ski slopes, ideally suited for carving and gliding, are all to be found within the ski areas of the Zillertal , as are challenging moguls runs and the steepest downhill run in all of Austria, the "Harakiri", reaching gradients as much as 78%. Floodlit slopes make it possible to continue skiing even after dark, while the Hintertuxer Glacier invites you to ski 365 days a year.
